PREVIOUS POSITION
During Ph.D. (2012-2017) worked as a “Research Assistant” in different projects related to
honey bees at Bee Research Unit, Plant Protection Department College of Food and
Agriculture Sciences, King Saud University, Riyadh 11451, P.O. Box 2460, Saudi Arabia.
Worked as a “Research Officer” at Beekeeping and Hill Fruit Pests Research Station,
Rawalpindi – Pakistan from May, 2010 to February, 2012. Main responsibilities were as
under:
o To conduct research trials on honeybee management and their pollination role.
o To explore the bee forage plants those, provide nectar and pollen in scarcity period.
o To conduct research on effective and economic control strategies for bee enemies and
diseases.
o To arrange the beekeeping training courses for public so that they may adapt beekeeping
as a cottage industry to improve their livelihood.
o To arrange public seminars focusing on the importance of honeybees in ecosystem and
their role in the conservation.
o To analyses the physicochemical properties of major honeys produced in Pakistan.
o To provide consultation services for beekeepers regarding different honeybee related
problems.
