2. What decisions have I changed?
• For my title sequence I have changed the way in which it
is going to appear in my film opening. I have decided to
put my title sequence when the paint comes dripping
down my characters face.
• I’ve also added an extra scene at the end of my title
sequence. I have decided to add a close-up shot of the
waves from the golf coming onto the sand. This will be
shot during the day.
3. Why I decided to do changes.
• I decided to change my title sequence because I felt that
my original plan was a boring and not creative. I then got
advice from my teachers to add it into the paint scene.
This was it will be more creative and could also possibly
stand out to my audience.
• I choose to add another seen to the end of the film
opening because I wanted a bit of diversity. The wave
scene would calm and sooth the audience from the
mysterious scenes shot before. This will help relax my
audience.
4. What elements might change.
• Sound might change in the process of editing my film
opening. I might go for something less dramatic and
more mysterious.
• One thing that might change in which I am not in control
of is the weather. I plan to shoot of a calm night but it
could rain. I will then have to shoot on another day or I
could shoot on the rainy day. Although this may lead to
many risk e.g. equipment getting damaged, crew getting
sick, actors slipping, etc.
5. Why I should continue reviewing my ideas through
the pre-production process
• Its important to review them because my ideas could
change. Development is important and making my film
opening better could help me get a better grade.
• I’m also trying to adapt the needs of my target audience.
I’d do this by completing more research and change my
ideas.
• Lastly I always come up with new fresh ideas. This could
be the effect of me changing my film opening.
