Rihanna so I decidedto researchmore of VIBE front cover
of theirmagazines and I have found that mostof VIBES
musicmagazines ensurethatthey usea closeup shotof their
models. VIBE dependtherepose on what themain story is
going to be inside of the magazine. Forexample, on this
front coverof VIBE Rihanna has a slight smile and isn’t
looking in any direction, thiscould insinuatethat she does
not care and is happy. This is why VIBE triesand focuses
theirpose and relay it to what is going to be inside the
magazine. Within thisfront cover I particularlylike that
Rihanna is not looking straightat thecamera which a
stereotypicalartistdoes when posing for a front coverof a
magazine. I have also lookedat a range of front coversby
Vibe and throughoutthey useclose up shots,with themain
person/modelwho is then placed within the centreof the

relevantto the image used,this is becausethe model is
standing upwhich reflectsfrom the quote.I have learntthat
the storiesshould tryand focuswith the model. From
analysing many of “classical”musicmagazines it is evident
thatthey chooseto uselong shotswith the models standing
in a way in which everyoneis seen.Classicalmusic
