2. Are you thinking of starting your
own Internet marketing business
and you are wondering if the
Internet marketing niche itself is
just too competitive?
I am going to discuss why
competition is not always a bad
thing.
3. Let me explain.
In order for any business to be
successful you need something to
sell and people to buy it.
Therefore you need something
that has a high demand and
plenty of buyers.
4. If you think about when you go to the
supermarket and you look on the shelf
for some cereal for example, you will
find that there are many different
brands of cereal but the cereal itself is
exactly the same.
The only real difference is the
packaging on the outside and maybe
a slight difference in taste but not a lot
more than that.
5. The reason for this is that there is a high
demand for certain types of cereal
and as individuals we all have our own
personal preferences.
Perhaps you want to save money and
will go for the cheaper brand or
maybe you prefer the taste of a
specific brand or perhaps the
packaging appeals to you more.
6. The fact is that when there is high
demand for something there is often
an opportunity for people to complete
by offering the same thing in a slightly
different way.
7. This is true when it comes to
information products.
We all prefer to consume
information in particular ways and
often a particular person will be
able to explain that information in
a way that connects with you but
may not necessarily connect with
someone else.
8. Therefore if you choose an
information marketing business it
doesn't matter how much
competition you have, you should
still be able to compete by
offering something in a slightly
different way.
9. When you think about the Internet
marketing niche you will no doubt
be aware that it is competitive
and there may be particular
people that always seem to have
the bulk of customers.
10. However when you think about
the number of people who are
demanding help and information
about the Internet marketing
niche you will see that there is
room for plenty of people to offer
their own solutions to such a huge
audience.
11. There are so many aspects of Internet
marketing that you could become an
expert in.
If you can provide a new angle in a
market that is competitive you
automatically remove your
competition.
12. If you produce information
products and in particular audio
or video products it becomes
easier to have something unique.
13. For example, if I produce an audio
training program no one can copy the
way that I do it.
They might be able to copy the
content of my program but because it
is me speaking unless there is someone
out there who sounds exactly like me
and speaks in the way that I do and
teaches in the way that I do, then
there is no one who can compete with
me and my particular style.
14. Many people will connect with me but
may not connect with my competition
just because of the way I teach.
Think about it.
We are all unique and therefore the
information that we provide, the way
that we provide it, is unique too.
