3. Technology in the Classroom
As grade sevens, students will be using a variety of
technology on a daily basis. Students will be using
classroom blogs, electronic translators, apps and
programs and much more to enhance and enrich their
learning. Technology has shown to help students engage
with new material, and also helps them develop higher
order thinking skills as they learn to create and
communicate their own work and ideas. Why not ask
your child what s/he did at school in the evening – their
answers may surprise you!
4. Safety and Technology
When working with technology, student safety must be
kept at the forefront of a teacher and parent's mind. I will
be teaching students about safe online use and also will
be monitoring any activity involving technology during
school hours. For more information, please visit the

including the Acceptable Use Agreement for students.
