Story time in the media center

1. Boo Bubbles in the Media Center October 2009

2. Story time this week is The Ghost Eye Tree by Bill Martin Jr & John Archambault

3. After the story it is time for some SPOOKY Science – BOO Bubbles!

5. I got this COOL Boo Bubble maker from Steve Spangler Science, just add water (liquid)

6. And put some dish detergent in a cup…

7. Add some dry ice (solid) to the jar (make sure to wear gloves)

8. Then watch the gas rise from the jar….

9. I dip the end of the tube into the liquid soap and use the cover on the jar to control the gas, and out of the tube comes a BOO BUBBLE (one just popped here!)

10. The best part about this story time – the faces of the kids when they see the “smoke” and bubbles!
