4. Photo 1 – edited Firstly, I have cropped the image to
try and eliminate the unwanted
background.

I then used the clone tool on
PicMonkey, to eliminate the
wires on the floor and the
window ledge, which had
previously took attention
away from my main image.

The final thing I did was add effects. The
first effect I added was called ‘intrepid’ and it
caused the lighting to be more dramatic.
Then I also added the ‘spotlight’ effect,
which put the main emphasis of light on
Hayley, and created more dramatic
shadows around her. I liked this, as it draws
the readers attention to her as the main
image.
13. Photo 3 – edited
As before, the
first thing I did
was crop the
image, to
eliminate
wasted
background
space, and get
a greater focus
on Hayley.
14. Photo 3 – edited
I then have
added the
same effects
as photo 2.
This has
again made
the lighting
more
dramatic and
has added a
softer tone to
the colours.
17. Photo 4 – edited
I have started
by cropping
the image, to
get a
medium-
close shot of
her face,
focusing
more on her
expression.
18. Photo 4 – edited
I then
added the
same two
effects
again.
Creating
softer,
lighter
colours, and
more
dramatic
lighting.
19. Photo 4 – edited
I decided I
would use this
image as an
advert for her
new album. So
in Photoshop, I
have added text
for the title of
the album and
her name.
