2. Image One
I rejected this Image because…
The lighting was an obvious issue here.
One of the lighting umbrellas wasn’t
working. However, we were able to fix this
and re-take the photo. There was too
much shadow on the star’s face meaning
that she needed to position herself facing
the camera more.
3. Image Two
I rejected this Image because…
There are a few reasons; one being that
the camera was held too high up, meaning
the star’s body was cut off. These shots
needed to be medium-long shots,
therefore we needed more of the star’s
body in the frame. Although her stance is
correct, she is smirking at the camera
which seems unprofessional.
4. Image Three
I rejected this Image because…
It was taken from too far away meaning
there is too much space behind the star.
Although on photoshop we could have
zoomed in, I didn’t want the picture to be
pixelated. Also, the star needed to be
facing towards the camera more so that
we can see her facial expression.
5. Image Four
I rejected this Image because…
The actor was smirking, meaning that his
facial expression was inappropriate to our
genre. The camera was also held too high
up, meaning some of the star’s tshirt is cut
off. The shot should have been a medium-
long shot therefore we recaptured this
image.
6. Image Five
I rejected this Image because…
The camera was held too high up,
therefore the star’s body was cut off which
is crucial to the Billboard as we need to
see how the stars are posing. The star’s
face also needed to be facing more away
from the camera so that once layered over
the other stars, half of her face wouldn’t be
hidden.
7. Image Six
I rejected this Image because…
The star on the left needed to be looking
more towards the camera so that he can
give direct address to the audience. The
star on the right is dominated this image,
whereas we need both male stars to be
equally in the frame. There is slightly too
much headspace in the image.
