2. WHY I AM
POLITICALLY
INVOLVED
• You can’t complain about
what the government
does if you don’t vote
• We have to try and leave
a better political
environment for our
children/grandchildren.
What needs to change:
• Better healthcare
• Improve Veterans affairs/care/treatment
• Spend more time fixing the country instead
of tearing each other down
What needs to stay the same:
• Protecting our Freedom
• Regulate Laws and Legislature
• Continue with oversight of Executive,
Judicial and Legislative Branches
3. WHAT I LEARNED IN GOVT 2305
I did not know:
the President has
Electoral Orders
that did not have to
go through Senate
and he can make up
any Office, plan or
commission
SURPRISE!!
I learned why the
Electoral College
counts more than
personal votes
I would like to learn
more about:
Local government
affects on county
citizens
SHOCKED!!!!
To see the
amount of hatred
that goes into
politics…..its
disgusting.
4. IT’S IMPORTANT
TO REMEMBER
THAT OUR
CHILDREN WILL
HAVE TO BE ABLE
TO AFFORD TO
LIVE AND PAY
BILLS ONE DAY,
SADLY THAT DAY
IS NOW.
TAXATION HAS
MADE IT ALMOST
IMPOSSIBLE FOR
AMERICANS TO
SUPPORT
THEMSELVES,
HOW WILL
FUTURE
GENERATIONS
DO IT??
5. 2ND
AMENDMENT
I believe that the Right to bear
arms and protect oneself is the
most important amendment.
Because IF the government fails to
protect us the only person we have
to do this IS ourselves. As with any
issue, it’s about proper education
and training. My gun hasn’t hurt a
single sole, she’s been minding her
business in her spot for the last
decade –hasn’t lost her temper
once.
We as citizens have a right to
protect ourselves and our families,
even if or when the government
fails to do so. It is all in choice.
6. WHAT HAPPENS NOW??
• To be honest, I wasn’t a big participant in politics
until the last 5 years or so, but I can’t complain if
I don’t vote.
• I know this: no matter what not everyone will
agree with you, and that’s okay. Treat
EVERYONE with respect and keep things civil. I
wish our politicians could.
• I have learned that no matter who our President
is, there is an outrageous amount of hate toward
them. I don’t think George Washington had that
in mind when he ran for the first Presidential
spot….very sad.
• I learned that in times of crisis our Nation is
NOT one to mess with (I knew that just research
confirmed it.)
