Like other smartphones and PDAs out in the market Windows Mobile has been in demand and it
conquered HTC Touch Diamond mobile phone as well. It is packed with the usual Office Mobile which
consists of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Other Microsoft applications can be added
depending on the user's preference.
Windows Mobile has a wide range of support for consumer and enterprise features. Like A2DP and
Bluetooth keyboard support, internet sharing with a computer or laptop, third-party application
support, video capture, from standard USB port to the mini-USB charging and also the commands
cut, copy and paste. Drivers are not necessary when connecting USB ports or cables because of
Windows Mobile's plug-and-play feature much like the one in desktop computers which makes
transferring files from the mobile phone to desktop much easier and faster.
Even though Windows Mobile is still equipped with the ever famous Internet Explorer, HTC still
preferred to chose a different browser. Browsing internet is done through the Opera browser. HTC
and Opera have worked hand-in-hand to make sure that they bring the best in the competition.
Microsoft Outlook also lets you organize different email accounts and messages. Though it only
comes in a trial version. So, better make use of it while it lasts. Aside from this, it also includes
Windows Media player for listening experience and still has the same controls.
Still HTC was not contented on what Windows Mobile had to offer. They still did some customization
placing Windows Mobile underneath their own user interface. But at the end of the day, Windows
Mobile still is the core operating system running on the mobile phone.
