2. “The greatest accomplishment
for someone who has helped you
is to stand on your own feet
and help someone else
who reminds you of yourself
because if you know one
then you should teach one”
KOTO founder - Jimmy Pham
3. About KOTO
a not-for-profit Social enterprise
providing personal and professional
development for at-risk and
disadvantaged youth
KOTO is a family and a new life
10. Governmen policies do not bring benefits for Social Enterprise.
Welfare for disadvantaged backgrounds are limited.
Vietnam business environment
Local mindset: Community understandings and acceptance of the
importance of creating a sustainable future for Vietnamese youth.
Human capability: Managing such a diverse group of youth & their
backgrounds is very complicated. Many of our KOTO trainees come
from backgrounds which include gangs, working on the streets, human
trafficking and other significantly disadvantaged backgrounds.
Financial difficulties – Cost of raising children is rising. We have
business tax on our income thus taking away from what we can put
back into KOTO.
Deliver an international curriculum in a local environment.
