3. While my top three intelligences based on the
survey are Intrapersonal, Visual/Spatial, and Logical, I
am only aware of two of them. I would not have
considered myself of Visual/Spatial intelligence. Based
on the eight given intelligences, without taking the
survey, I would have ranked myself highest in Logical
followed by Intrapersonal. I score high on calculus tests
when seeing the material for the first time, I can learn
number-related objectives with ease, and I am often
criticized for thinking too logically. As for Intrapersonal,
I am reserved in my opinions and never volunteer to go
out in front of a crowd. I prefer to work on my own than
with a group. I’m not surprised that I was ranked low in
Naturalistic and Musical, as I am uninterested in Nature
and I can’t keep a beat.
4. Recording how various
amounts of sleep affect
me could make it more
clear as to how certain
sleep stages affect
alertness. Setting
alarms to wake up
during REM sleep to
check for dreams could
further aid in learning
and retaining the unit
on sleep
intrapersonally.
5. Creating a model
of the brain and
labeling the different
parts and areas helped
me retain that
information beautifully.
I can still picture my
model and remember
where the areas are. I
highly recommend
continuing to offer that
project.
6. When I think of logic,
I think of cause and effect. I
even apply this in math,
when numerical
relationships interact. The
lesson I propose for the
learning unit would consist
of answering open ended
questions with the end
effects of certain causes.
For instance, “how will a rat
respond to a red light after
a cat has been released
after the lighting of the
light several times prior?”
