There are two main types of software:

hardware components (also referred to as its bare metal)
ā¢ Systems software can also be used for managing computer

system itself, not human users.
5. Microsoft Windows, or simply Windows, is a metafamily of graphical operating systems
developed, marketed, and sold by Microsoft.
Linux is a Unix-like computer operating system assembled under the model of
free and open-source software development and distribution.
Google Chrome is a freeware web browser developed by Google. It was first
released in 2008,
UNIX was designed to be a small, flexible system used exclusively by
programmers.
Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD) is a Unix operating system derivative
developed and distributed by the Computer Systems Research Group
(CSRG).
6. APPLICATION SOFTWARE DEFINE
ā¢ An application program (app or application for short) is a
computer program designed to perform a group of coordinated
functions, tasks, or activities for the benefit of the user.
ā¢ An application is any program, or group of programs, that is
designed for the end user.
7. ADOBE The leading multimedia software company. Adobe
products are used primarily by professional designers and editors
