A response that exemplifies this is ‘The thrill and action keeps my mind excited.’ It was also commonly said that they are exciting and thrilling. An example comment for this is ‘I like very much if they contain intelligent thrills & breath taking almost believable stunts.’ However despite Thrillers being the most popular genre and popular with most of the participants, not everyone was positive about them. It was said they Action Thrillers are ‘tedious’, ‘boring and formulaic’, ‘simplistic’ and ‘unrealistic’.
