The partnership will work on developing a new job profile the
Digital Tourism Technician qualification:
- 3 years course
- 3 to 5 EQF level
- Tourism an IT skills curricula
- Long term WBL in international companies
- ECVET credit system to simplify transparency
DIGITAL TURISM is a Key Action 3 Project (KA3)
Partners of the project:
• This project aims to develop a new qualification for tourism, one of the fastest
growing sectors in both Europe and the world.
• This new qualification aims to blend tourism and IT skills and meet new trends
in consumer demand.
• The course will be delivered mainly online and students’ work assessed by peer
review.
• It targets young people between the ages of 15 and 24 and will prepare them
to work with both traditional and new business models.
• The project will provide students with professional knowledge and skills
focused on IT-based promotional and marketing strategies (travel technology
or e-tourism).

DIGITAL TOURISM Developing New Digital Tourism Technician Qualification

DIGITAL TOURISM Center: CDEA, Centro de Formación de Administración y Hostelería Partners: The partnership will work on developing a new job profile the Digital Tourism Technician qualification: - 3 years course - 3 to 5 EQF level - Tourism an IT skills curricula - Long term WBL in international companies - ECVET credit system to simplify transparency DIGITAL TURISM is a Key Action 3 Project (KA3)

  • 4. • This project aims to develop a new qualification for tourism, one of the fastest growing sectors in both Europe and the world. • This new qualification aims to blend tourism and IT skills and meet new trends in consumer demand. • The course will be delivered mainly online and students’ work assessed by peer review. • It targets young people between the ages of 15 and 24 and will prepare them to work with both traditional and new business models. • The project will provide students with professional knowledge and skills focused on IT-based promotional and marketing strategies (travel technology or e-tourism). The aim of the project

OUTPUTS O1- Need Analysis Analyse the state of art and investigate the original needs of tourist sector among a wide range of companies O2- New profile definition Learning Outcomes, activities to be performed, skills, competences, responsabilities, tools. O4- Dissemination and recognition Globla Dissemination strategy through a valorisation plan of the project results to reach all the target groups. Regional validation. O3- Quality assessment Assess the quality of the Digital Touris, Qualification: Standardisation, Effectiveness, Measurability to the working environment.
