   1. Written Production: What does being like a girl and acting like one really mean? How’s Scout
       not acting like a girl? Think of how women had to act in those times. Remember last year’s
       articles?
   2. Written Response: Write a letter from dill to Scout explaining why he couldn’t visit that
       summer.
   3. Read pages 154-155 carefully. Explain how the Great Depression is portrayed here. Draw the
       cartoon. Explain why Jem says it’s a compliment.
   4. Give complete details of what First Purchase is?
   5. Who is Lula? Zeebo? Reverend Sykes? Compare how all three of them received Jem and Scout.
   6. Read pages 157 and 159 again. Give examples of propaganda. Could you draw them?
