To build a computer, one must first attach the CPU fan holder before installing the motherboard. Then, install the CPU into the motherboard socket and secure it. Next, place the motherboard into the computer case and screw it in. Connect all necessary wires from the power supply, USB ports, etc. to the motherboard. Install the hard drive, CPU fan, RAM sticks, and optional GPU to complete the build.

2. ATTACH HOLDER FOR CPU FAN
Attach the holder for your CPU fan
before you place your motherboard
inside of your PC.

3. INSTALL THE CPU
Install the CPU to the
socket of your
motherboard. There will
be a lever on the side
that clamps down when
inserted properly.

INSTALLING THE MOTHERBOARD
Place the motherboard inside of
your computer. The way the
motherboard faces depends on
the case you have. Once the
motherboard is flat you will screw
it in to ground the motherboard
and prevent the connections from
shorting.

5. CONNECT ALL OF THE WIRES
Now you have to make sure
that everything is connected.
While connecting to your
motherboard, make sure that it
is receiving power, your USB
ports are receiving power, etc.
It’s all about making sure you
have power.

6. INSTALL THE HARD DRIVE
The Hard drive is as simple as
placing it in it’s spot and connecting
it to your motherboard via SATA
cables.

7. INSTALLING THE CPU FAN
To install the fan all you have to do is
place it on top of the CPU and the
holder you screwed on in the
beginning is where you will be
screwing the fan into.

8. INSTALLING THE RAM
The ram has a specific spot on your
motherboard as all of the parts do. To
install the ram you must lift the latches
on the A1 slot or B1 slot if you are
using two sticks of ram and line the
stick up with the notch on the bottom
and press down.

9. ADDING A GPU
While it’s not necessary to have a GPU
(Graphics Processing Unit). It is nice to
have. Your GPU will be going in the
PCIe slot which is located below the
CPU. You will have to remove the metal
bracket from your case in order to
install the GPU.

10. GOOD TO GO!
If you’ve followed the all of the
steps then all that’s left is to plug
everything in and turn the PC on!
