2. My Film
My film will be action film with elements of thriller and
it will be in the superhero genre but will not have any
superheroes just people with special powers who are
simply trying to survive as they are being hunted down
for being different compared to every normal human.
3. Story / Plot
The story will begin by establishing the characters and their place in the
story through narration after this I will introduce the Antagonist of the
story which will be a character called Samuel. After this we will transition
to a seen that shows the main characters personalities and what their
abilities are. This scene will slowly turn into an action scene of all of
protagonists fighting the established antagonists of the film and Will end
with a gruesome scene of one of the antagonists being tortured by 2 of the
main characters because one of the main characters of the story gets
killed.
4. Visuals
The visuals of my short film will take heavy inspiration from the
UK show called utopia. Utopia had a very distinct and easy to
replicate Visual style as all they did was turn off the saturation in
postproduction. I feel like this visual style very much fits The
superhero genre and this short film as it implies that the world we
are watching is very different from our own from just the colours
we see.
5. Timeline of creation

In the sum m er of 2022 I have alread y began
creating T he script and several draf ts f or an
intro sequence f or the short f ilm .
October
In October I began creating storyboards for most
of the scenes I had written in the script In the
summer.
November
In November I will begin full the pre production full pre
production process as I will begin casting people in
roles for my film along with getting together locations in
which I can shoot the scenes for the film etc.
December
In December I began creating risk assessments
and start location scouting for all of the scenes I
had written in the script In the summer.
January
In January I will begin full production of my film and I
will be filming it all the way through until the end of
march.
February & March
In February I will begin full post production of my film
and I will be finishing it all the way through until the end
of march.
6. Budget
The budget for the film will be around £100 and
most of the budget will be going to things such
as costume design and props that are needed for
the different scenes in the film.
Such things as editing software like Adobe
Premier pro and having cameras will not be
included in the budget as I can acquire these
fairly easily for free.
