Machinist Mate Nuclear (Submarines) August 2009 - Present
MECHANICAL OPERATOR- operation of various steamplant components to provide
continuous and efficient propulsion, electrical power, and distilled water for reproduction of steam
along with crew consumption.
ENGINE ROOM SUPERVISOR- oversaw the operations conducted by a watch team manned by
5 mechanical operators,2 electrical operators,and 1 reactor operator.
STEAM PLANT/ REACTOR/ AND ELECTRIC PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN-
conducted over1000 maintenance items related to preventative/ corrective/ and emergency repairs
of steam/ reactor/ and electric plant components.
MACHINE TOOL OPERATOR- trained and tested on the 16’ south bend manual lathe,
performed emergency repair on ships atmosphere control equipment by manufacturing new parts
for a motor shaft.
QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR- inspected and performed 150+ maintenance items on
several submarine safe, level I, and Nuclear Level I designated systems resulting in the
accomplishment of many rigorous and time critical ship overhaul periods.

several safety critical maintenance items of ships refrigeration units along with performing the
duties of the ships EPA LOG custodian maintaining required logs with no deficiencies noted on 3

SECURITY/ REACTION FORCE WATCHSTANDER- trained in the use of M9 service pistol,
M500 shotgun,M16/M4 service rifle, and MK 43/ 48 LMG. Responded to multiple security
violation and repel borders casualties in defense of nuclear weapons.Participated in 2 nuclear
weapons defense inspections.
FUEL OIL/ LUBE OIL OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR- oversaw 9 safety critical fuel oil and
lube oil transfers resulting in no spills to the environment. Maintained fuel oil/ compensating
water/ and lubricating oil log with no deficiencies noted.
DIVISIONAL TRAINING LEADER- generated and coordinated all divisional examinations
related to qualifications of higher watch stations.
