- Acted as divisional Repair Parts Petty Officer, meticulously researching, procuring, and tracking over
$300,000 of consumable and repair parts for 7 work centers.
- Trained 7 junior shop Petty Officers in acquisition and tracking management resulting in an improvement
in logistics support and efficiency.
- Acted as leading technician, leading 4 junior electricians in the correction of over 1,500 electrical trouble
calls, 1,100 preventative maintenance checks, and 550 automated work requests directly improving
material readiness throughout an aging electrical distribution system, accounting for 3,500 man-hours and
$52,000 of maintenance related savings.
- Personally mentored and trained new shop personnel in planned and corrective maintenance, ensuring all
maintenance were completed with the highest degree of craftsmanship.
- Provided exceptional support to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard workers in the testing and repairs of
115VAC watertight receptacles throughout ship ensuring full readiness.

- Trained and Qualified as Cableway Inspector
- Lead and trained over 20 ship personnel for in class Electrical safety Cableway course.
- Displayed consistent technical prowess as evidenced by direction as lead technician in the successful
completion of three (3) shipboard cableway inspections and correction of over 1,500 electrical safety
discrepancies, including over 300 Category 1 Safety violations.
- Displayed leadership beyond paygrade as assistant leading petty officer for electrical maintenance
assistance team. Guidance and hard work contributed greatly to an overall increased level of electrical
safety readiness.
- Responsible for the organization and inventory of over $100,000 worth of repair parts. Efforts directly
reflected with zero (0) discrepancies during Southeast Regional Maintenance Center’s highly successful
fleet maintenance activity assessment.
- Acted as lead technician on 3 Casual Replenishment jobs including AEGIS Cooling pump motor.
