QUALIFICATION SUMMARY: Transitioning United States veteran with five years of military aviation electronics experience, with a
strong competence for analyzing, diagnosing and repair of equipment at the organizational level. Extensive experience as a supervisor,
managing up to forty coworkers at a given time, while also maintaining a safe work environment.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
Power Distribution Gyro stabilization Electromechanical Systems
Active Secret Clearance Technical Manuals Critical Thinking
Electrical Safety Hazmat Procedures Test Equipment
Cost Control Time management Critical Thinking
Attention to Detail Troubleshooting Mentoring
TROUBLESHOOTING:
● During daily flight operations, observed abnormal functions of the engine over speed system, preventing the respective engine
from operating. Troubleshot to a shorted motion pickup transducer internal to the engine, replaced transducer allowing for
proper function of the engine.
● Aircraft was reported to have a left to right oscillation in the flight controls. After running a system nullification and conducting
continuity test to ensure the proper resistances, isolated the problem to a roll gyro that was out of tolerance. Replaced gyro
and performed a system op check to verify correct movement of flight controls.
● While performing a daily aircraft inspection, noticed that the infrared turret caused violent shaking when slewed side to side.
Troubleshot to multiple shielded wires chaffed inside the wire harness. Correctly repaired shielded wiring, enabling the
Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) to return to operational status.
● Upon performing an acceptance inspection, discovered that when engaging the #1 generator, caused the #3 generator to go
offline due to an under voltage situation. After determining the generator was outputting the proper voltage, troubleshot down
to a faulty voltage transformer causing the issue. Replaced voltage transformer in accordance with maintenance manuals.
EXPERIENCE: United States Marine Corps
From 2011 to present Avionics Electrical Technician
● Supervised, performed and inspected maintenance evolutions on over 1,000 tasks which resulted in the serviceability of
multiple aircraft while forward deployed.
● Adept at diagnosing and isolating a variety of malfunctions to a component level in electrical instrumentation systems,
digital/analog equipment, and power plant control systems using appropriate test equipment.
● Proficient at troubleshooting all aircraft systems to include: routing/repairing wire harnesses, removal and replacement of
multiple components, utilizing all maintenance instruction manuals.
● Strong ability to communicate and analyze any quality control issues to ensure the safety of all items pertaining to the
efficiency, and safety of personnel and equipment.
● Responsible for the utilization, tracking, and safekeeping of the squadron’s communication security assets as an Electronic
Key Management System supervisor, during multiple detachments.
