Spent four years in the United States Marine Corps as a Motor transport operator. I supervised
daily motor pool operations including preventative maintenance checks, quality assurance
checks, gear inventory, and training. I maintained records for 26 tactical vehicles, taught junior
Marines convoy procedures, preventative maintenance actions, truck operating procedures, and
lead fitness training. I recieved my A&P at Portland Community College where I learned proper
maintenance procedures overhauled Allison 250-C20B and Lycoming O-320-E2D engines; and
conducted 100 hour inspections on a Cessna 310 airframe and IO-470-VO engine. During this
time I was also selected as Boeing Portland assembly intern in a competitive selection process
