Later, the manager called Bob to tell him that his salary was raised. He was
surprised and happy.
Ana was not lucky. In the morning, she cleaned and waxed the car. It looked
beautiful! Soon after, it rained. She was very disappointed. Then she decided
to relax. She turned on the T.V. but it did not work. In the evening, she was
cooking dinner and the phone rang. She answered the phone and forgot about
dinner. The food overcooked. She felt sad and angry. What a day for both of
them!
