SPECIAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS, I: Co-authored a technical paper on a unique tunable single
frequency air-cooled argon laser system, and SPIE published the technical paper January 1991 in
Volume 1600, International Symposium on Display Holography journal (Score: 100%). Designed
and built this laser system for ILT, including all documentation, quality and regulatory compliances
marketing, specifications, assembly and engineering with problem rectification, primary customer
contact for nearly all sales for this laser. Eight year involvement until production of this system
halted shortly before company closure. Retained all design and sales rights solely, as co-
designer/co-author abandoned any and all involvement upon leaving company in 1992.
SPECIAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS, II: Turn-key manufacturing joint venture manager. Single-handed
management, strategy, training, special processes manufacturing equipment assembly/testing/installation, all
equipment installation, verification and validation of equipment and processes, resulting in single required
but triple produced accepted laser systems first-run.
EXPERIENCE - Bring over twenty-eight years of professional engineering experience in the Laser
Electro-Optic industry including Quality Engineering, R&D Engineering, Production Engineering, Technical
Marketing, Technical Sales, and Engineering Consulting for industrial, scientific and medical/dental laser
companies.
Caregiver, Sole Trustee: (1996-present) Began medical involvement for Mother in 1996, in 1999 she was
diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer’s. Added and began Caregiving for Father also in 2000. Learned and
assisted/managed all aspects of parental wishes and parental care determined by each ones numerous
maladies, managed and performed all aspects of chores, financials, alimentary, shower/cleanliness/lavatory,
medical and prescription needs, exercise and recreation for both, resulting in becoming sole and primary
contact/authority/Power Of Attorney for all matters for both. Continuing management and liquidation of
Mother’s Estate, including management of two sibling co-heirs with me.
Independent Consultant: (1998-present) LASER & OPTICS ENGINEERING, Quality, Production and
Engineering projects for laser manufacturers, service providers and dentists.
• Created a quality assurance program for the world’s largest medical laser company for incoming
inspection of optics that decreased line failures by over 20% after first month implementation.
• Designed laser, tube, optics specifications including re-specifications, and solved OEM design
problems for a leading laser service company.
• Serviced lasers for dentists, and coordinated installation activities of independent dental field service
technicians including technical assistance and problem rectification.

ILT-Britesmile: (Recruited 1988) Provided R&D, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Assistance,
Troubleshooting, Sales, Service and Manufacturing Support for a dental, scientific and industrial laser
manufacturer, including sister joint venture manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China.

• Defined, improved, and monitored the quality processes for the entire supply chain including
incoming inspection, inventory control, manufacturing, quality testing, CE, ISO-9001, FDA, GMP

• Designer of an industry exclusive wavelength-tunable single-frequency air-cooled argon ion laser
system that had a conversion efficiency (MLM to SLM) increase to 50-75% over the industry
standard of 10%.
• Designed all Quality, Production, Sales, Testing Procedures, and provided on-going support.
LASER ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (1988-1991)
• Designed a carbon dioxide laser tube assembly, tube processing system, and tube production
procedures for FDA approved dental laser system.
