We have years of collective experience working
with IOCs around the world and municipal waste
companies in the United States.
We know that many companies want to do more
with their waste but are struggling with the current
limitations on waste disposal options in Kurdistan.
Our local and international staff are working to make

Some waste streams can already be

but capacity can be a big issue. Other waste

Partnerships
Building strategic partnerships with local government, local busines-
ses, IOCs, local and international companies to bring positive change
to Kurdistan.
Education programs
Working with the Ministry of Education to get school children more
engaged with waste topics. Long-term change will come about with
involvement of the Kurdish people of all ages.
Capacity Building
We aim to increase capacity of all waste streams generated in
Kurdistan. In some cases this will involve new processes for Kurdistan
and the development of additional Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs),
landfills and recycling centers.

in Kurdistan.
Designed to utilize the energy stored in waste while protecting
the environment from contaminants that may be present in the
solid waste stream and complemented by on-site environmental
monitoring equipment.

and buried on open land.

mize the amount of materials
incinerated or landfilled.
Modern recycling
centeRs
Kurdistan has extremely limited capacity in its Material Recovery
Faclilties (MRFs) and general recycling plants.
We are working with the KRG and our partners to build and
operate additional MRFs to greatly increase capacity. Additional
disposal routes are being introduced so all waste streams can
be properly disposed of in Kurdistan.
