To be considered a curricularist, a teacher must fulfill several roles: they must be a knower by learning about the curriculum; a writer by documenting their knowledge; a planner by creating lesson plans; an initiator who starts curriculum implementation; an innovator who updates the curriculum over time; an implementor who teaches the curriculum; and an evaluator who assesses whether the curriculum achieves its goals. Fulfilling all these roles related to curriculum development, implementation, and assessment is what qualifies a teacher as a true curricularist.

He/she initiates the curriculum.
From the word itself initiates. “to start”
or to begin”
There will be many constraints and
difficulties in doing things first or
leading, however, a transformative
teacher will never hesistate to try

9. INNOVATOR
He/she innovates the
curriculum. The curriculum is
always dynamic, hence keep on
changing. A good teacher
therefore innovates the
curriculum.

10. IMPLEMENTOR
Implements the curriculum.
Curriculum remains recommended or
written will never serve its purpose.
Somebody has to implement it.
The heart of schooling is a curriculum.
