PROFESSIONALSUMMARY
Currently, I am looking to gain experience in a field relevant to my BS in Biology. In
the near future, I would like to continue my education and earn a Master’s degree or
better in the Biological Sciences. I possess four years of experience in retail, one year
of management experience, and one and a half years of data collection, entry, and
analysis experience. I am self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, personable,
conscious of cultural differences, and dependable both as a part of a team or solo .
I’m very quick to learn new skills and highly motivated to perform all tasks with
effectiveness and professionalism (but am more than willing to ask questions if I
don’t understand something). Other more relative skills that I have utilized and
become more efficient at include performing accurate research, effectively
correlating research results, proper use and handling of sensitive submersible
imaging and survey equipment, and conforming to all safety standards and protocols
required by the job.
SKILLS
Through my work experiences, I have received training in programs like AutoCad, SQL
Server, and other specialized software programs for data management and interpretation. I
am familiar with how to utilize programs and features within the Microsoft Office Suite and
am beginning to familiarize myself with the VBA coding language. I have some training in
ARC GIS as well. I am naturally a people person and am very easy to get along with. I work
well in a team, but can perform as an individual at any level. With my management
experience I've become much more dependable and motivated to perform all tasks with
determination and self-reliance well within the given timeline. I am ready and willing to take
on any task and eager to learn new skills.

2. WORK HISTORY
Bauer Foundation Corporation February 2014 - Present
Instrumentation Specialist
Project Overview: Center Hill Dam Foundation Remediation. Project involves installation
of barrier/encasement wall within the earthen embankment and underlying bedrock of the
70yr old hydroelectric dam to mitigate historic and current seepage problems. Approx. Cost
= $120 million. BFC is a Florida corporation and a U.S. subsidiary of BAUER group based out
of Schrobenhausen, Germany.
Duties include: Data collection, management, presentation and interpretation,
geotechnical surveying with instruments ranging from cameras to specialized sounding
equipment and inclinometer systems, ensuring that practices preserve data integrity,
conforming to health and safety guidelines of the job site, communicating across
organizational formally and informally, working alongside the client (the U.S. ARMY Corps of
Engineers) in monitoring the structural integrity of the damn, collaborating with members
of my team as shifts leave and arrive on site to continue the duties and tasks of the
department, exposure to varying and often inclement weather conditions, writing tools in
VBA/Excel that streamline otherwise time consuming processes.
