3. Some things in life cause people to feel, these
are called emotional reactions. Some things
in life cause people to think, these are
sometimes called logical or intellectual
reactions. Thus life is divided between things
that make you feel and things that make you
think. The question is, if someone is feeling,
does that mean that they are thinking less? It
probably does.
4. WHAT EMOTIONS
DO WE HAVE?
Everyone who is leaving has feelings. We have emotions so
that we can respond to our circumstances and how we feel
in those circumstances. Emotions are a way for us to
express a variety of feelings that we encounter every day,
including love, happiness, and anger. Without emotions, a
person is unable to communicate their feelings to others.
5. HOW DO WE EXPRESS
EMOTIONS?
Emotions can be expressed verbally (through
words and voice tone) or nonverbally (through
body language or facial expressions), depending
on the situation. Body language can be used to
convey a variety of emotions, such as a
hunched posture or crossed arms.
6. WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO
MANAGE EMOTIONS?
One of the most significant abilities you can
possess is the ability to recognize your emotions
and learn how to control them. Suppressing your
emotions, whether they are anger, sadness, grief,
or frustration, can result in physical stress on your
body. In fact, people who are good at noticing how
they feel and can calm themselves down or adjust
their behavior are more likely to do well in life,
have healthy relationships, and manage difficulties
and setbacks.
7. WHY DO PEOPLE
REACT
EMOTIONALLY?
Choosing how and when to express our
emotions is a key component of managing
emotional reactions. Those who are good at
controlling their emotions understand that
doing so is healthy. Controlling our emotional
reactions involves deciding how and when to
express our feelings. Those who are adept at
controlling their emotions are aware that it's
beneficial.
9. HOW DOES THE
WAY WE FEEL
INFLUENCE HOW
WE DO THINGS?
Emotions such as anger, anxiety, and sadness have the
potential to distract students’ learning efforts by interfering
with their ability to attend to the tasks at hand. Emotions

ability to attend to the tasks at hand. Positive emotions are
consistently associated with better performance, quality,
and customer service.
10. Negative emotions such as group anger, sadness, fear, and
the like usually lead to negative outcomes, including poor
performance and high turnover. Social intelligence is both
knowing what the person is feeling and acting effectively
based on that.
11. HOW CAN WE
CHANGE THE WAY
WE FEEL?
To feel good when doing a presentation for
people, focus on a person who is nodding and
smiling at you. To feel good when doing a
