1. Personal development
PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am currently studying level 3 media in college. I would like a future job in media as
well after my college course something that involves filming
I have gained many skills involving filming techniques and editing techniques as well
as well as improved overall understanding of technology and cameras as well. I have
gained many techniques in my level 2 media course with handling and filming I have
learnt camera compositions.
Well, my friend josh inspired me to join the course I had no idea what I wanted to do at the
time, and I went on the course with him because I had no Idea what I wanted to do and ever
since I have loved it. My history into media as well watching films be made and how they are
made me want to go and study media professionally seeing and making techniques from
media
So far, the only academic achievements are just my level 2 media passes and my level 3 A1
assessment where I achieved mostly merits. I am currently working toward a level 3 creative
media foundation as well.
Well, the most recent funny enough my A1 assessment on my work in media I got assessed
very well from the lecturers and my peers both saying that my work were excellent in quality.
The project was to make a tv advert, print advert and a podcast al for mental health and I
received plenty of feedback towards each of them and I applied and assessed in project with
the given improvements at hand.
The most recent project I excelled in quite well it was to create a podcast, advert and poster for
mental health that really interested me because of mental health issues in today societies it
was really interesting to learn and research into mental health problems at this age and come
up with a solution or a help for people who are struggling and making not one but three
projects each for different areas of mental health I could spread out better campaigns but still
overall helping the mental health problems in today’s age. That made me excited and
interested throughout the project and made me applied the best efforts into the given project. I

2. learnt a lot of skills as well as empathy within the campaign I learnt overall that mental health
is worse now than now ever. I learnt how to make a podcast with multiple people and how to
make a print advert with different colours and ideas inside the print itself. As well I learnt how
to make a compelling tv advert for mental health using premier pro. I did all these in media
and gained many technical skills.
