2. PERSPECTIVE OF THE COURSE
For any organization to be successful, it needs to have an holistic approach towards business
with accurate alignment of its objectives with business strategies. As healthcare industry is a
unique service industry, different approach has to be followed to ensure the business
performance and growth. The course will cover the basics of strategic management
including quality and innovation as applied to healthcare sector
3. COURSE OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES
OBJECTIVES
- To enable the students to understand the philosophy and rational of business
strategies
- To enable the students to understand the various quality philosophies, significance
and their application in healthcare settings.
OUTCOMES
- By the end of the course, the student will get a feel of the strategic dimensions
of the management of healthcare organizations
