Quality Officer at- ON Time Hospital- in New Damietta-EGYPT
(January 2012 to October 2014)
On time Hospital is a new established Private Hospital specialized in Family Medicine,
Gynecology, and Pediatric and I was practicing as a Family Medicine Specialist in this Center and
as I am holding TQM Certificate from AUC, I participated in the establishment of Quality
Department in the center and I was a Quality Team Member Participate in the following:-
1. Help in creation a quality culture in the hospital.
2. Promote employee participation in Management by way of establishing Work Improvement
Teams/Quality Circles.
3. Assist the management in Performance reviews and maintain records of such reviews.
4. Conduct customer satisfaction surveys, and employee satisfaction surveys, maintain and take
corrective action for public complaints. Encourage suggestion schemes in hospital.
5. Assist in preparing guidelines and protocols relevant to care provided to patients.
6. Establish a mini library consisting of manuals, journals and other texts in Quality and Safety in
Healthcare.
7. Collect data related to quality improvement of patient care services (e.g. Patient accidents and
adverse events, near misses, readmissions, case fatality rates, complications arising from Medical
and surgical procedures, Referrals and Transfers etc) and review.
8. Encourage and assist in preparing strategic plans for the hospital.

I used to run my family medicine clinic to examine and treat patients with a wide range of
conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility taking patient
histories, performing or requesting diagnostic tests, making diagnoses, prescribing treatment,
administering vaccinations and performing follow-up examinations, as well as educating patients
in disease prevention and health maintenance following quality standards.
