HOBES company is the largest manufacturer of mortise locks in the Czech
Republic
It continues the tradition since 1950, it was production of door locks under
the name Brano,
In 1992 it was privatized and currently the company is 100% private
ownership,
There is 78 types of mortise locks in the production portfolio,
Manufacturing the parts for the automotive, custom manufacturing,
Galvanizing - white zinc,
We currently employ 192 employees.
Turnover in 2015 amounted to almost CZK 230 million,
Since April 2013, is the company HOBES manufacturer of metal door frames
Victoria.
The following period is characterized by extensive investments in
technology equipment, information technology and expansion into foreign
markets.
3. The stability of foreign trade also ensures subsidiary company in
Poland. Successful production cooperation is also carried out with
foreign companies.
The production area of the company is about 6600 square meters,
warehouse area: 1200 + covered open area 400 m².
The strategic orientation of the company is a satisfied customer.
The high quality of our products evidenced by the granting of the
certificate of quality management system DIN EN ISO 9001:2005, ISO
14001, ISO TS 16 949 The result is various awards such as the
CZECH MADE. By expanding the product range and the preparation
of new products and the active involvement of marketing, we want to
meet the growing interest in the products of our company and
enhance service levels.

18. HOBES Galvanization
Galvanization is an electrochemical elimination of the appropriate metal on
conducting material.
In our case it´s the process of zinc coating. It means that we put layer of zinc on the
conducting material ( iron ). This layer is usually between 8-12μm. The layer of zinc
protects the material against rusting. It can improve the design and the value of the
product.
The zinc coating consist of several processes:
Grease removal, staining, decapitation, zinc coating, chromatizing, sealing, drying.
The products are washed after every process.
Chromatizing means that the product is protected against rusting much better. We
use thin blue passivation film with sealing and thick yellow passivation film without
sealing. This passivations are without sexivalent chrome.
The size of the rack parts is 2m x 1m and maximum charge for the barrel plating is
50kg according to the types of goods with the minimum size 5mm a piece.

realize the documentation in our design department. We offer modern technologies,
expert team of employers, high precision and function reliability of the produced
