Thanks to our continuous investment policy, Ugitech is expanding our range of products
and services to keep up with market trends. Mass customization ensures a factory-direct
product range tailored to the needs of individual customers with the possibility of lengths
and finishes to order. Major investments reflect this proactive approach and are opening up
new prospects. Ugitech acquired Eurothal, renamed Ugitech Precision, specializes in the
medium- and large-scale production of a wide range of chromium-plated bars used in the
manufacture of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.

UGIMA ®
The range of improved machinability grades recognised by users. This process provides
unparalleled cutting conditions and tool wear levels without affecting the intrinsic properties
of the grades. We offer 40 grades in the UGIMA ®
version.

The new generation of UGIMA ®
that further increases the productivity of grades 1.4305,
1.4404, 1.4307.
UGIGRIP ®
A complete range of concrete reinforcing bars. These stainless steel rebars, which comply
with current standards, are the solution to the new problems encountered in building and
construction. They guarantee safety, durability, reduced maintenance costs and improved
living conditions for our fellow citizens.
UGICHROM ®
UGICHROM ®
is the result of combining the high efficiency of micro-fissuring chromium
plating with the technology of Ugitech’s most advanced bars. For our customers, this
guaranteed zero-defect solution is indispensable for many cutting-edge applications
(offshore, nuclear, wind power, aeronautics, etc.).
UGIPLEX
An excellent compromise between corrosion resistance and the mechanical properties of
the austeno-ferritic grades (Duplex). This product line allows Ugitech to offer our customers
economical alternatives (1.4362, 1.4460) to austenitic steels.
UGIPURE ®
Obtained with the ESR process, these stainless steel refractory products with improved
cleanliness and structure meet the most stringent requirements of high-tech markets.
UGIPERM ®
The optimum magnetism/machinability of stainless steel. Very high relative magnetic

Manufacturing and Process – Oil and Gas
Our wide range of grades and certifications (ISO 9001, TÜV PED 97 / 23 / CE, TÜV W0 / TRD 100, Norsok
MDS D47) enables us to meet the requirements of customers working in this market. Our products are
used to manufacture valves, pumps, fittings, filters and flanges and to weld fabricated assemblies.
Automotive
The ISO TS certification, the installation performances of our products and our partnerships with OEMs
have made Ugitech the leading manufacturer in this market. Ugitech products are used in injection,
braking and exhaust systems, as well as in other safety components.

Ugitech is active in a wide variety of markets. 80 % of our sales
are made in four especially demanding ones.

Building – Construction
In many applications, stainless steels demonstrate their ability to meet the varied needs of
the building, civil engineering and architecture fields. The variety of our products (from fine
wire to concrete rebars) is a real asset in this market. Long stainless products are used for
decoration (woven mesh, door handles, fasteners, etc.) and in structures (rebars or dowels).

comply with the NF XP 35-014 and BS 6744 standards.
Water treatment and food processing
Ugitech is able to provide customers with economical solutions that fully meet the expecta-
tions of these markets. Seawater desalination, water supply and water treatment plants
require the use of stainless steel. Stainless steel is also used in the food processing
industry, where hygiene standards are extremely strict.

20. 20 MARKETS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Nuclear
Ugitech has been an RCC-M certified manufacturer and stockist for the nuclear industry
for over 40 years, complying with the design and construction rules for mechanical
components of PWR nuclear islands. Our experience allows us to provide the very low Co
(≤ 0.04 %) and Boron (≤ 0.001 %) stainless steel grades required. We can also supply grades
in compliance with the other standards used in this industry, such as ASME, NCA3800,
PED, GOST, etc.
Aeronautics
Ugitech can provide a full range of products and finishes and a wide variety of sizes.
Our products are already benchmarked by the major manufacturers and comply with over
1 900 standards and specifications. Ugitech is a member of the French Standardization
Office for the Aeronautical and Space Industry (BNAE).
Medical
We are represented in this market through our range of implantable products and our range
of nonimplantable products designed for accessories and instruments. We guarantee a
high-quality material that complies with the required ISO and ASTM standards and offer
you our technical expertise.
Watchmaking and cutlery
Ugitech has also developed specific solutions for the watchmaking and cutlery industries.
