Jim Perz received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Bradley University in 1973. He
minored in business and engineering also while at Bradley University.
Jim has had a successful career in the food and beverage business over the last 40 year. His career
is marked with professional positions of increasing responsible with major food and beverage
companies. A brief list of positions with each company is detailed.
Mr. Perz’s technically experience spans fruit growing operations, fruit process, juice ingredient (NFC
and concentrate), fluid milk operations, textured vegetable protein, beverage development &
commercialization, ingredient supplier management, plant operations, co-packer management, QA
and QC group management. He has extensive experience with the global juice ingredient supply
chain, industrial and consumer packaging operations (cold pack, hot pack and aseptic plus related
packaging formats including glass, plastic, cartons and bulk transport).
In July 2013, Jim’s accepted the position of Director, Global Liquid Foods Supplier Development –
Juice for The Coca- Cola Company. In this role, Mr. Perz manages the juice team (five regionally
based associates) for the newly formed Global Liquid Foods Supplier Development Group. His
responsibilities include: developing new juice suppliers (regionally and globally); ensuring an
integrated and sustainable ingredient supply with over 350 supply points; providing Liquid Food
Supply Chain networks with subject matter expertise and information regarding juice supplier
performance and capability; providing input to procurement and other stakeholders; and developing
system-wide quality and technical capabilities to support Liquid Food growth initiatives. This role and
organization is a part of the Company’s Liquid Food Community of networks charged with creating
value in support of achieving TCCC 2020 Vision
