To start this report, we would like to give an enormous amount of thanks
to our lecturer, Mr.Shankar for sharing his psychological knowledge that he
learned in his younger age, and opting our eyes and minds.
Through the lectures given, we gained so much knowledge from him. It is
beyond the shadow of doubt that without him our minds would still be
lacking of information about what is really happening around us and helped
us to be able to see clearly about the reality of an incident.
Next, we also like to thank each other's presence in all meeting and
shooting session that we had together. Indeed, we are grateful for one
another for being supportive throughout our hard time doing the assignment,
as well as willing to contribute the work equally. Finally we would like to
express our gratitude to everyone that has given us support both physically
and mentally in order for us to finish our work successfully.

Introduction
Introduction, as we arranged them to be , we should start at the very
beginning whether it's a start of story or a journey for our report.
In this project, we are assigned to come up with a documentary of a
storyline video clip that contains 5 psychology concepts. The video clip must
be worth of 3 to 5 minutes long. This project should be done in a group of 5
to 6 members and students are allowed to choose any concepts that the feel
most suitable to their story. Also, all the concepts should be taken from the
chapters that had taught in class.
Apart from that, upon from finishing the project, there are three 3 important
requirements to fulfil, first each group have to come up with the video clip
that includes 5 different psychology concepts, second every group have to
create a report based on video clip they made, and finally each group need
to present a PowerPoint slides to the lecturer and their classmates.
Through this process of completing the project, we are able to cope the 5
concepts that we had used in our film. With this, we are able to relate and
infuse the concepts back to our daily life. Another purpose of this project is
to allow the student to engage with psychological inquiry and become self-
regulated learners.

Method
Milieu
The filming took place in several place in Taylors University Lakeside
Campus, we took the first scene in architecture studio level 3 to show
working scene. Then we moved to the hallway outside architecture studio
level 3 where the main actress and actor passing by. The staircase outside
SLC as a meeting point for both actor and actress where the scene is most
suitable for that particular situation. We went to the commercial block for the
ending scene and car park where the accident happened in the video.
Timing
We started filming on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm – 5.30pm, we chose the
weekends because the campus is less crowded and it is easier for us to film
during that time period where lighting is appealing.

III. Video Filming
As mentioned earlier, we filmed at Taylors University Lakeside Campus at
several venues as there were many different scenes and we chose the most
suitable location for every scene.
Each scene were taken from several angles to show different angles and
closeness to portrayed the character perfectly and the scene to be as
perfect as possible. We tried our best to film it in the most professional way,
our videographer Leo, Jian Xiang has many experience in video filming
therefore we used a different approach of filming compare to the ordinary
ways.
7. 7
IV. Analysis, tabulation and presentation
The video clip we did must actually supported by a report as well as a
PowerPoint slide presentation, as it is a part of requirement based on our
project brief given. Appropriate analysis, research as well as tabulation of
data was done to make sure we are on the right track. We delegated the
tasks of the report to speed up the process and efficiency.
As for our presentation, we went for the minimalistic theme for our slides
layout, this is for easy reading purposes and the slides to explain with the
simple way and easier for everyone to understand. We also practiced our
presentation before the actual presentation to avoid any mistake and more
the presentation to be interesting.

Apparatus and material used
To ensure the filming to go smoothly and more professional, and for the
video to go according to plan, we used a few apparatus and equipment to
abide whatever possible bad causes.
• Camera (Canon EOS 70D DSLR)
Using a DSLR is much better and more professional compare to
phone as the video quality and sound quality is much better.
• Lenses (Canon 24-105mm F4 L Lens, Canon 10-18mm STM Lens
and Canon 50mm F1.8)
Different lenses for different scene and location for the video so that
the outcome will be as clear and smooth as possible
• Tripod and Tripod slider
Using tripod will help to void shakiness in the video and help to
stabilize the video directly, and also video slider for camera can be
used to take different angles at the same time moving as smooth as
possible.
• Application used to produce the film: Final Cut Pro X
This video editor is more professional compare to windows movie
maker and imovie.

Conclusion
In conclusion, this assignment had helped all of us in this group on
understanding the concepts and theories in a better way. Not only
about that, it also had taught us on how to analyse specific concepts
based on the particular scenario. We have now acquire an in-depth
understanding of the theories we chose as well as the theories that we
did not include in our video clip.
Besides, we would also like to express our greatest gratitude to our
lecturer, Mr. Shankar for teaching and helping us throughout this
semester. We would like to thank him for allowing us to be his student
and we are undoubtedly grateful to be under his wings for this subject.
Last but not least, we would like to take a moment to thank and
appreciate each other's presence throughout the whole preparation of
this project, in order to complete it. This is because we all believed
that it takes great effort to complete it and we can't do it if it's only a
person. The more man power, ideas and helping hands, the faster we
get the task complete.
