I love how STEAM inspires students to integrate their content knowledge
in order to make something special and unique. I also appreciate how an
effectively implemented STEAM program prepares our students for the

As a kid PBL is the perfect way to learn; working in groups, finding a very
deep understanding, and being creative in the way to present our ideas.

PBL helps students take ownership of their learning. They get so excited
when they hear we are starting a new PBL.... Each group came up with
such unique ideas and the dynamics of each group were so clearly
different in this activity. I don't think that this would have happened if we
had just used traditional methods of teaching. And I know student
connections to learning would not have been as prevalent.

Because we are a STEAM school, students receive instruction in the arts, which has been cut from many schools’ curricula across the state. USING STEAM TO INSPIRATE DEEPER LEARNING • NSTA STEM FORUM & EXPO 2015 As a kid PBL is the perfect way to learn; working in groups, finding a very deep understanding, and being creative in the way to present our ideas. - Soren, Sixth Grade Student PBL helps students take ownership of their learning. They get so excited when they hear we are starting a new PBL.... Each group came up with such unique ideas and the dynamics of each group were so clearly different in this activity. I don't think that this would have happened if we had just used traditional methods of teaching.
