this service is given to new students upon the beginning of classes to
systematically identify the characteristics and potentials of every student

This aims to provide the individual student with information, which he or
she can relate to his or her personal needs in educational, personal-social, and
vocational area of interests. Information can be obtained through:

Guidance and Counseling
It is the heart of the guidance services. It is a helping relationship which aims
to assist students in their personal and social areas of adjustment. Counseling
can be done by individual or by group. (through walk-in or recommendation)
15. This aims to keep track of referred students. Parents are also invited to
school for case conferences with the Class Adviser, Subject Teachers,
School Principal, Dean of Students, and the Guidance Counselor
Designate.

16. It helps and enlighten the students in choosing the right career path based on
their educational and professional choices. It helps students to reflect on their
ambitions, interests, qualifications, and abilities.

17. This includes screening and evaluating new students or candidates for
admission. This service refers to the administration, interpretation, and
dissemination of entrance exam results. In terms of psychological tests, the
Guidance Office shall make necessary recommendation to parents in order to
further assess the student needs.

18. This service is provided by the Guidance Office to the graduating and
completing classes (Grade 6 & 10). This refreshes and revitalizes the
students mental and emotional strength which also gives an opportunity to
rekindle himself towards his classmates, his own self, and towards his
spiritual growth.

20. Peer facilitators are students whose goal is to
support learning and listening to students while
learning more about themselves. This helps and
provide practice in leadership, communication, time
management, and demonstrates appropriate social
interaction skills.
