9. Layers of the
Atmosphere
The layer closest to the Earth’s surface. Weather
occurs in the troposphere because this layer contains
most of the water vapors. Most jets and planes would
fly slightly above the troposphere to avoid turbulence
in weather.
Prior reaching the next layer, above the troposphere is
a buffer zone called tropopause.
