Responsibilities:
• As a Material Planner responsible for the performance of a portfolio of suppliers
in regards to on time deliveries and inventories.
• Assist the buyer (at onsite), with managing a just in time procurement
environment with; scheduling, planning and ordering aircraft engine parts within a
SAP information system.
• Represent part of an entire “Commodity” for client.
Operational Responsibilities
• Playing a Material Planner role on expediting parts in order to meet the Master
Planning Schedule.
• To build rapport with Supplier, Client and the shipping team (Logistics).
• To enhance the on time delivery by preventing line stop during the engine
delivery.
• To analyze and instruct the order management team to place Purchase orders
for MRP parts based on the contract of suppliers.
• Realign purchase orders with the assembly and test or production requirements.
• To intimate the changes in drawing specifications to supplier and to implement
the same on purchase orders.
• To maintain the source list/vendor data and modify the vendor details.

• Reconciling the invoices to match the PO to ensure timely payments to supplier
and resolving the payment related issues.
• Conducting weekly KPI’s with the suppliers to provide feedback and discussing
on areas of improvements.
• Review the optimal batch size order for material flow as well as the supplier’s.

In-House Production Process:
• Handling In-house production parts where parts being procured by planners will
form a kit.
• Download reports twice in a week and perform detailed verification of kit
components to release the kit.
• Intimate the FSL team about the kit release to allocate the detail components for
assembly.
• Intimate the assembly team about the kit release and due date to have kit
assembled.
• Contact detail component buyers and expedite the materials when shortage of
components.
• Contact the OPM team to update the bill of materials for the parts newly added.
• Contact the assembly team to tract on released kit.
