Ms Jen Rogers

I have had the pleasure to know and work with Jen in my time at Woolworths across several roles. Most
recently where she had the responsibility for the Pet Needs and Paper goods categories for Woolworths
Australia. Prior to that, in the Baby and Personal Care area, another category of significant strategic
importance to the business. Her record within Woolworths of course extends further, as you would
expect with an associate with 18 years experience. She has had a methodical and impressive progression
through all aspects of the merchandise team from Assistant, to Sales and Promotions Manager, to
Merchandise Analyst, to Assistant Business Manager (Buyer) to Business Manager. There is little doubt
in my mind that Jen has experienced all there is to offer within the Merchandise function of a large
Supermarket operator.
During these 18 years of service Jen has picked up a number of Awards and this clearly indicates her
passion for learning, ability to deliver and drive for results. Over the past 3 years I have personally
witnessed this as she achieved the goals set in both her most recent buying roles. I have enjoyed seeing
her initiative at play whether it was extended product offerings and layouts in pets, to our first specific
pet booklet encompassing newness and innovation across pet care to rewards mechanisms and the like.
Most importantly Jen displayed an ability to navigate through the business with resourcefulness and tact
to ensure the desired outcome was achieved.
I would have her on my team without hesitation, in any merchandise role as she has demonstrated over
many years an ability to learn and adapt and deliver. I would only be happy to discuss any further points
should that be required.
