Assistant Manager › Responsible for departmental areas of the store. Hiring, training, motivating, and setting high
standards are the keys to success. I worked as an assistant manager in six different stores in two years.
General Manager › General managers you are responsible for the entire operation of the store. I operated three
stores as a General Manager, opening a Store in Holland Michigan from the ground up. When opening a new store
you are responsible for hiring every associate, and those associates, in addition to their future responsibilities, help
set up the store to open. When you take possession of the store there is nothing there except tile and carpet. With
those new associates, the entire store from fixtures to merchandise are set up systematically to ensure a target
opening date. This team building experience is paramount to the success of the store.

and proper promotional signing.

Also responsible for merchandise assortment planning and hitting targeted sales and profit goals. I was sent to
Bossier City La, to help open a new store, and was promoted to Senior Merchandise Manager.

Prison Guard › Assigned to the Ellis Unit as a guard. I was responsible for the location and safety of the inmates on
my assigned cell blocks.
