The document provides a design brief for a "Sit+Store" furniture piece that combines seating and storage. It must be creative, flexible, simple to construct, and placed inside a home or work environment. The project involves three phases - design concept, development, and presentation. The design concept phase includes sketching, modeling, and describing initial ideas. Design development shows technical drawings, animation, and written evaluations. The final presentation features a completed design solution through slides, audio, and video with written description and evaluation.

2. DESIGN BRIEF : In this project you are asked to generate a design for a ‘Sit+Store’, a unique element of free-
standing furniture which combines both the opportunity to sit or rest whilst providing storage for items such as
books and other home/work media. The item would be placed in an inside an existing space within the home or

communicate the journey of your project, right from the beginning of your process, through research, design,
development and final outcome.
