• Actors are not well known
• Films are set in the UK
• Budgets are lower
• Costumes and props are less extravagant
• Smaller, more niche audiences
• More basic camera shots
• Not normally debuted in cinemas, typically
independent ways of distribution (e.g, Netflix)
• Cheap advertising methods (e.g, social media)

3. American:
• Celebrity actors
• High budgets
• Set in world renowned locations
• Use of SFX and CGI
• Use of craning shots and helicopter shots
• Large audiences
• Expensive methods of advertising (e.g, TV
adverts)
• Cinema distribution
