understand why some Veterans are more or less likely to seek mental health treatment in an emergency department or inpatient
psychiatric facility.
! Developed a recruitment database for the study tracking all participant communications, consent, interview schedule, unique
participant identification numbers, and respondent’s contact information.
! Was responsible for updating, and reporting all study changes to the Internal Review Board (IRB).
! Developed and implementing a code book for a substance use and personality based study looking to measure the efficacy of
two domiciliary programs (First Step and Homeless Veteran’s Rehabilitation Program).
! Assisted in the coding of multiple transcripts for a qualitative study looking to better understand risk factors of recidivism and
