food ($2M). Currently involved in management of $40B in yearly inventory sales.

(2,300 personnel) into a cohesive team which supported battle group operations in

Division Director, Defense Logistics Agency
2011 – Present Washington, D.C.
Leads a team of over 50 people including 5 senior military, in representing military
and federal government logistic equities across the $40B Defense Logistics Agency.
Hand selected by the Under Secretary of Defense to develop an improved logistics
system for the Afghan Army and Police. In four months’ time, developed and
implemented an improved logistics information system, new organizational structure
and new supply and maintenance processes. The greatest change to Afghan
logistics in the past 10 years.
Developed and led a program that identified and moved over 5,500 line items of
repair parts to overseas strategic locations in direct support of the Navy, Army and
Air Force. This program increased material readiness of its recipients by over 30%.
Directed the distribution of food, fuel, building materials, and critical spare parts to
over 500,000 personnel across the Middle-East. Increased the availability of
material by 20% at no additional cost.
Director, Navy Enterprise Systems
2008 – 2010 Washington, DC
Directly advised the Vice Chief of Naval Operations and the Assistant Secretary of the
Navy on all aspects of improving the Navy’s business processes.
Directed the scheduling, planning, resourcing, coordination, and execution of daily
operations of the only office in the Navy focused on business operations improvement
Directed 14 member staff and $700K budget. Partnered closely with executive level
business consultants.
Improved alignment between strategic goals and programs in a $150B annual
operating and investment budget.
Implemented a high-level matrix governance organization to improve common
standards and transparency across business lines.
Orchestrated Rapid Improvement “Kaizen” Events for senior Navy budget experts.
Supply Officer, USS ABRAHAM LINCON (CVN 72)
2006-2008 San Diego, CA
Directed all logistics and quality of life operations on 5,000 person nuclear aircraft
carrier that included a shipyard industrial repair overhaul and a seven-month
deployment to the Arabian Sea which included combat operations. Responsible for
total battle group logistics and material movement (approximately 7
ships/submarines), material and parts budget of $90M annually, inventory
management of over 200,000 line items, retail store operation of $2.5M, food service
operation which served over 20,000 meals/day, 60 person laundry operation,
equipment maintenance, and recreation programs.
