Theory, Practice, & Navigating STEM Higher Ed

Cost to Attend: $30 (Refundable upon successful completion of the course)
Eligibility: You must be a quad-based, HMS/HSDM postdoc or faculty to apply.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Analyze, share, apply and reflect on techniques to enhance student learning.
- Reflect on a variety of teaching methodologies in higher education.
- Apply the backward course design model to lesson development.
- Discuss the influence of the STEM professions on teaching theory and practice.
- Design and deliver a lesson in their discipline based on best pedagogical practices.
- Incorporate reflective practice into their work.
- Navigate the STEM environment from hire to tenure.
