telemetry air monitors in local residential neighborhoods and
businesses. Drafted and finalized response reports and supporting
documentation. Field activities included QC of compiled HAZCAT
data, perimeter air monitoring utilizing up to 11 air meters equipped
with VIPER hardware and software, conducting work in PPE levels
B, C, and D, and attending daily safety meetings.
Planned and supervised task orders ranging in value to $22M
under ERRS Region 6 and 2 contracts and GLNPOCS for waste
categorization and sediment dredging
As a Project Team Leader (PTL) under START-3 contracts for
Weston for 5 years performed site assessments activities for both
CERCLA and OPA removal actions conducted under ERRS in
Region 6. Managed personnel health and safety, defined resources,
and logistics under time-critical and emergency response.
Determined matrices, characterized waste and sampled various
drums, vats, and containers. Worked closely with OSCs, federal
contractors, and subcontractors. Designed, implemented, and
maintained environmental air monitoring plans. Worked with local
businesses to file state permits for POTW discharge and emissions
compliance. Prepared documents for waste minimization and
resource conservation plans, environmental quality (air and noise)
reports.
As an environmental scientist for 2 years for V-Tech, managed and
disposed of labpacks, oil field NORM waste, and IDW generated
during monitoring well drilling activities.
EXPERIENCE INTERPRETING TECHNICAL & REGULATORY DATA
Interpreted data for 9 years reviewing sampling data, air monitoring,
soil borings, analytical data and bathymetry surveys to define hazard
depth and waste type to develop technical approaches and adjust

Responsible for the oversight of daily field operations and transportation/disposal of more than 5,000 tons of low level lead
contaminated soil and all other wastes from the Chemical Recycling site located in Wyle, TX. Coordinated with Federal,
State and Municipal authorities as well as transportation contractors and disposal facilities to meet the needs o f the project
goals. Exceeded EPA expectations and reduced field time by more than 30%. Drafted, finalized and modified, as necessary,
quality assurance plans and site HASP for the project duration.

Mobilized to conduct a removal action at a closed plating facility. Workers set up the site and established work zones.
Initiated bulking and staging of >130 drums, 20 totes, and contents from 28 plating vats into 13 waste streams. Initiated
T&D activities and to date have disposed of 6, 30-cy RCRA empty containers, 80 cy of non-hazardous debris, trash, and
2,730 gal of non-hazardous liquids to a disposal facility in LA. Transported 220 gal of oily liquid waste, 55-gal of organic
peroxides, 200 pounds of sodium cyanide, 1,100 gal of waste sodium hydroxide solution, and 160 gal of lead contaminated
resin to a to a TSDF in TX. Transported 2,730 gal of non-hazardous liquids to a disposal facility for stabilization. Removed
the sheet roofing above the surface impoundment and closed the impoundment. Drafted and finalized two plans, quality

Member of supervisory team who managed dredging of 434,000 cy of non-TSCA and 7,664 cy of TSCA PCB sediment
from 45 dredge management units over 2 seasons on Buffalo River and Ship Channel. Provided T&D coordination for
12,250 tons of solidified sediment and disposed in a TSCA landfill and off-site disposal of 25,725 cy of trees, stumps, and

At an abandoned steel foundry containing NORM-contaminated foundry materials and wastes, conducted extensive
radiation surveys across the site to determine contamination in materials and waste. Wastes were consolidated and 10, 55 gal
steel drums of material were T&D. Collected surface and subsurface soil samples using a direct push drill rig Geoprobe to
determine lead and benzo-a-pyrene soil concentration. Samples were processed for analysis by EPA CLP and 4,600 tons of
contaminated soil was excavated/T&D. Worked with VIPER hardware and software with EPA ERT support and interfaced
with the OSC to manage communications and data transmissions during radiation surveys to remote computer servers.

Performed sampling and T&D during an emergency response project located on the Circle Court NPL site. Sampled 55 gals

Assisted in design and construction of a collection and storage facility built on DOT property under the I-510 bridge to
contain hazardous materials collected from commercial/industrial sources. The site was the primary repository for material
collected from Orleans Parish that included drums of hazardous material including explosives, ammunition, radioactive
material, various low and high pressure compressed gas cylinders, medical/bio-hazardous waste, storage tanks and
unknowns. Recorded/documented material unloaded/received, assisted in segregation using best practices, documented off-
site disposal and monitored bulking operations. Assisted in recycling of scrap metals, re-procurement of property to the
general public, and worked with local suppliers in recovery of re-usable materials. Sampling activities included tank
atmosphere purging and inerting prior to, and during hot-work. Conducted peripheral air sampling and soil sampling.
