TECHNICAL OPERATIONS PROFESSIONAL
Extensive experience in satellite asset management, technical documentation, distance learning,
government security and information systems within the Federal Communications Commission
(FCC) regulated satellite communications industry. Recognized and rewarded for skills and record of
success in creating procedural and U.S. patent documentation and training materials, administration
and protection of classified government documents and security clearances.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
SES, Princeton, NJ 2002 – 2014
Asset Manager (2009 – 2014)
Collaborated with Sales Directors, Sales Engineers and Customer Account Managers to provide new
satellite capacity assignments, optimize capacity, and define solutions to transponder loading issues.
Wrote procedural documentation for Asset Management after implementation of new, proprietary
enterprise application tool, OneSat Plan. This documentation assured that employees in globally
dispersed locations performed tasks in exactly the same manner, reducing redundancy, errors and
the time required to complete the asset management process.
Developed a new process for assigning and managing occasional use inventory in light of
demands for greater revenue generating, full-time satellite services.
Documentation Specialist (2008 – 2009)
Created and administered technical documentation repositories of 1200+ documents to support IP
Prime, a business venture that provided satellite services to rural Telcos.
Terrestrial Operations Specialist (2002 – 2008)
Processed and administered commercial and governmental terrestrial earth station license
applications and requests for operating non-compliant earth station antennas with the FCC.
Calculated and documented the estimated satellite link performance for proposed satellite services.
Assessed requests and worked with employees to protect internally developed intellectual property
by writing and filing detailed patent applications with the U.S. Patent Office.
Developed the International Bureau Filing System (IBFS) in concert with the FCC, the first web-
based application and database for filing and maintaining domestic FCC earth station licenses.
This system reduced the time required to complete, validate, file and remit payment in the
licensing process by 30+ days. Received the FCC Trail Blazer Award in recognition of the
outcome and effort required to complete this project.
Completed 14 potential patent applications; 6 of these were selected by internal legal audit for
filing and were subsequently granted by the U.S. Patent Office.
GE AMERICOM, Inc., Princeton, NJ 1989 – 2001
Technical Training Coordinator/Operations Analyst (1997 – 2001)
Created and provided cost effective technical training to remotely located satellite technicians using a
variety of distance learning methods. Processed all requests for FCC earth station licenses.

GE AMERICOM, Technical Training Coordinator / Operations Analyst (continued)
Created the Field Academy for Continuous Education and Training (FACET) website, in lieu of
cost-prohibitive off-site training and travel expenses, providing access to job related training and
reference materials for 100 satellite technicians located at 27 domestic earth stations. The 40
hours of annual training required per technician was met during all four years this program was
in service.
Wrote, published and provided the CBT module, Spectrum Analyzer With Satellite Earth Station
Applications, to all sites in response to a training need that could not otherwise be met. Saved
over $75,000 versus off-site training. Received GE Summit Award for employing Six Sigma
methodology and practices.
End User Consultant (1991 – 1997)
Managed a 15 server Novell network providing Level 1 helpdesk support to desktop/laptop users.
Administrator, Operations Support (1989 – 1991)
Generated IBM System 36 RJE to remote IBM 3090 mainframe.
RCA AMERICAN COMMUNICATIONS, INC., Princeton, NJ
