INTERVIEWING AN M&E ENGINEER
For our second assignment for ICI module .We are
tasked to interview an M&E engineer. After that we are
required to make a video and also a 6 page magazine to
show our understanding about what is an M&E
engineer, what he does, how he does it , etc.

MR. Lee has been working as an M&E engineer for over years up until
today. He graduated from northern University, after that worked in Kuala
Terengganu for 5 years and after that transferred to Kuantan for a few
years under the government sector.
After all those years, he quitted his job and joined IJM CONSTRUCTION
SDN BHD which is under the private sector. The main role of being an
M&E engineer is to design build related to the clients need.

B. Lorem ipsum. As an engineer, he has faced
numerous complications during
the construction phase, a lot of
mechanical problems may
occur such as air conditioners
that may have complications in
the wiring systems . And so, he
has to make sure he gives some
feedback to the architect
concerned in order to deal with
all these complications.
From when a project is
assigned for his team, he is
involved from the starting of
the construction until the
project is !00% complete.
MR.LEE always agrees
that a sustainable
building project can be
successful only if the
rules and regulations
that have been
prepared by the
authorities are followed
strictly and to make
sure the quality and
quantity of work good

workers.

projects. One of them is called
Iskandar Melawati. Every
project he has been involved in
has made a lot of profit

Do not ever be self-centered, because being able
to share knowledge will always result in a good
attitude till the very end. Be sure to always
concentrate in the working life.
MR.LEE gave some advice to the future generations
that, the younger ones should have a vision of what
field they want to work in the coming future, with
that make sure to study hard and study smart. At the
same time, to balance and distribute tasks in our daily
life.

In a nutshell, having this
interview was a good
experience to get more about
the industry from an engineer.
There is surely a lot more to
learn about this industry. As
for myself (standing the third
from the left), I wish to thank
my group members for the
