 With high obesity rates in the youth of today, instilling in
children the importance of a healthy lifestyle and
exercise is essential.
 There is a lack of proper education amongst the
teachers of PDHPE there needs to be a program
initiated that provides teachers with the means to give
PDHPE the proper attention it deserves.

3.  There is strong need for PDHPE in schools. It tends to
be a subject that children look forward to all week and
therefore should be emphasised as important and
should harness the students’ enthusiasm for learning
as vital.

4.  There is a need to give children the tools to make
healthy life choices for the rest of their lives.
 If they have the information that they need for their
futures, they can make the choices for themselves and
be good role models for themselves and others.

5.  Through fun, interactive and modern (wiki) styles of
teaching and learning we can provide students with the
information they need in a fun way. The importance of
having a healthy lifestyle cannot be stressed enough.
By providing students with the tools they need, we can
help create a generation of informed healthy students.
